Analytics Manager | Not-For-Profit Tourism Company | London | £40k + 16% Pension
RedCat Digital have a truly unique opportunity for an Analytics Manager to join a company which is raising the profile of the United Kingdom worldwide.
My client is a non-departmental public body, funded by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport as well as by private sector companies such as British Airways and large hotel chains. Their mission is to increase Britain’s profile worldwide by increasing the volume of tourism in the UK and ultimately increasing visitors spend, they do this by designing and deploying marketing campaigns worldwide.
The analytics manager role sits within their ecommerce and digital function and is responsible for contributing to the overall achievement of my clients’ ecommerce ambitions as well as to the understanding of their current performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide analysis to support trading and merchandising, you will drive data led initiatives with the goal of driving trade effectiveness on the ecommerce platforms, lead the weekly and monthly trading meeting where performance in analyses and decisions are made to ensure growth.
- Drive insight from data to make suggestions concerning both the site experience and commercial performance including new feature development, testing, monetisation of traffic and call-to-actions that increase lead generation.
- Take ownership of marketing data that are produced from various marketing sources (search, display, social, email, etc.) and provide insights & recommendations.
- Ability to present data in a way that is simple to interpret and cascade out to the organisation as a whole whilst making helpful recommendations.
In terms of technology, it is expected that you will be experienced using Google Analytics as well as having advanced Excel skills.
The right person for this role will be experienced in digital analytics and will have worked in an ecommerce environment and will have excellent knowledge of the various marketing channels available (email, PPC, SEO, affiliates etc.).
It is expected that you will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a commercial setting, this role is not suitable for recent graduates. This is because you will be expected to work autonomously, pulling and analysing the data and then presenting your findings to the management team.
