About the role:

Content Manager required for a boutique PR Agency based in London that specialise in the travel industry. The successful applicant will be an organised content manager with a passion for language and solid experience in journalism or writing. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role’s day-to-day responsibilities will include crafting a variety of written material across all of my clients international travel client accounts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the agency’s own content, for example on their social channels, website and biz dev mailings.

The role has considerable scope for development for an independent and loyal candidate looking to become involved with a boutique agency at an exciting time in its development.

Other Key responsibilities will include:

  • To write day-to-day written material for clients including press releases features, statements, newsletters, leader intros, opinion pieces, Q&As, speeches, presentations, award entries etc
  • To create in-depth, accurate conference reports during and after client events in high-pressure and time-limited environments
  • To manage the production of high-level, creative content for the website and across all social media accounts, including opinion pieces and social media series
  • To produce content calendars and ensure targets are met, managing the peaks and troughs of activity throughout the year
  • To proofread and edit written work from other members of the team, ensuring that the quality of written work remains exemplary at all times

What skills you need:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Personal specification – essential:

  • 2-10 years’ experience in journalism or writing
  • Experience and understanding of social media communications
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interest and belief in the global benefits of the travel industry

Personal specification – desirable:

  • Working knowledge of foreign languages
  • Previous work within the travel industry
  • Social media graphic design experience

£28,000-£38,000 depending on experience
