RedCat Digital has a truly unique opportunity for Digital Analyst to join a company which is raising the profile of the United Kingdom worldwide.
My client is a non-departmental public body, funded by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport as well as by private sector companies such as British Airways and large hotel chains. Their mission is to increase Britain’s profile worldwide by increasing the volume of tourism in the UK and ultimately increasing visitors spend, they do this by designing and deploying marketing campaigns worldwide.
The digital analyst role sits within their strategy and communications function and is responsible for analysing digital and e-commerce data, providing insights, analysis and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide reports/dashboards and interpretation to ensure that internal teams are able to understand all elements of digital performance.
- Report on the effectiveness of my clients’ website, this includes conversion and website functionality.
- Carry out traffic analysis to inform marketing teams of the effectiveness of different marketing channels.
- Communicate analysis to stakeholders within the marketing teams to ensure they understand the findings, and take part in discussions about the implications and next steps.
In terms of technology, it is expected that you will be experienced using Google Analytics as well as having advanced Excel skills.
The right person for this role will be expected to have at least 1 years’ experience in a commercial setting as a digital analyst.
You will have proven experience of analysing digital data from various marketing sources with a strong understanding of website analysis.
