This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading FMCG company in a truly global role that will help accelerate business performance and drive growth, by optimising my clients market data purchase operating model and relationships with external market data agencies on a global scale.

About the role

This role has a global remit which requires not only the ability to effectively manage relationships with teams across different countries as well as global data agencies, but also a good understanding of the differences in terms of market data landscape and data suppliers across countries. This role is pivotal in ensuring my client optimise continuous market data coverage and usage across the business and ultimately support the development of advanced reporting capabilities to understand and to accelerate business performance and driving their consumer and customer obsessed culture.

The successful candidate will have proven global experience working in a similar role for one of the leading FMCG organisations and will also ideally have experience working for one of the leading data marketing agencies.

What skills do you need?

Extensive experience in managing relationships and negotiations with external continuous market data agencies at global level and across different sets of data and effectively managing the external suppliers’ contracts ongoing. 

Strong previous experience in managing and knowledge of syndicated/continuous market data at global level is required.

Previous FMCG experience is required.

Good knowledge of different markets and consumer data sets available globally and data providers to optimise data coverage and utilisation.

Experience in developing and implementing optimal data strategies and purchase operating models in global organisations including leading global budget annual processes. 

Finance experience / extensive prior experience in managing large budget and coordinate budget spend across several markets.
