Working a fast growing, pure play, luxury eCommerce startup/scale-up, the Head of eCommerce will lead the strategy to drive customer acquisition, retention/engagement, on-site conversion and ultimately revenue. The role will be global in scope (UK, US and Europe are the main markets) and the company is growing +50% YOY

The Head of eCommerce will be responsible for:

  • eCommerce P&L
  • Managing and growing a high performing team of digital marketers and eCommerce professionals
  • Customer acquisition, primarily across paid media channels (paid social, paid search, display, affiliates, etc.), but also SEO, partnerships and any other channels that could drive growth
  • Retention and engagement, primarily email marketing
  • Trading , merchandising and promotional calendar
  • Website – customer journeys, UX, optimisation
  • Working closely with the CEO (who they will directly report to) on the overall strategy

The Head of eCommerce will have:

  • Plenty of eCommerce, performance marketing and digital experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data driven mindset
  • Worked for a digital-first or pureplay eCommerce business
  • Start-up / scale up experience would be great
  • Candidates can come from any consumer eCommerce background, but experience in luxury, fashion or lifestyle could be beneficial
  • If not already a HO eCom, then potentially come from Senior eCommerce Manager or Head of Digital type roles

This is a great opportunity for a talented Head of eCommerce to join a well established, high-growth global eCommerce brand looking to exit within the next 3-5 years. They are already profitable themselves and have access to substantial funding in order to speed up the rate of growth (currently +50% YOY already).

Ideally they would like someone in the office (London) 2 days a week, but can be flexible for the right person.
