About the role
Senior Compensation Manager required for a leading media owner based in London for an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
The Senior Compensations Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Partner with HRBPs and business clients to deliver compensation solutions that support business objectives with a focus on our EMEA region
Perform meaningful data analysis on compensation elements, including base pay, short-term incentive plans, long-term incentive plans, pay for performance, benchmarking / market data, peer reviews, and job evaluations
Partner with Recruiters to develop competitive compensation offers aligned to company pay practices and philosophy
Deliver compensation programs including annual base pay increases, promotions, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives to clients
Ensure compliance with all related regulations according to local jurisdictions
Coordinate the gathering of all data components related to any country specific pay equity reporting
Provide up-to-date market intelligence on competitive compensation trends and practices
Partner with HR colleagues on change management projects
What Skills you need:
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting is preferred
8+ years of progressive compensation experience
Candidate must have a deep understanding of total compensation programs including base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, executive compensation, benchmarking / market data, and job evaluation
Solid understanding of the external competitive market and the regulatory and compliance environment as it applies to any country specific mandates
Strong financial background and business acumen
Analytical mindset and ability to manage large, complex data sets
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in an environment with competing demands and ambiguity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
Organizational agility and ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to change rapidly in time sensitive situations
Previous experience in tech or media companies in the EMEA region
Experience and high proficiency with the Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
