About the role:
Senior Digital Content Executive required for the digital content & merchandising team of a leading leisure brand based in Hemel Hempstead (the role will require 2 days per week in the office).
As Senior Digital Content & Merchandising Executive you will be managing the delivery of the day-to-day trading of my clients websites with a key focus being on our landing pages.
You will need to work in a collaborative way with the wider team – in particular with the Digital Content & Merchandising Manager – ensuring we are delivering maximum revenue and conversion through rapid and proactive site merchandising.
You will have day-to-day communication with the wider Marketing, Acquisition and Revenue Management teams on creation and management of merchandising content for acquisition purposes.
You will also have a direct report.
What skills you need:
This role will suit a self-starting individual who’s keen to take the next step in their career in digital content and merchandising and wants to get stuck in to join our Commercial and Marketing team.
You should have experience within a site merchandising, content or digital trading role – previous experience within an ecommerce, travel or online retail is a bonus! A strong attention to detail, the ability to make decisions based on analytics, build strong relationships with key stakeholders and excellent communication skills are a must.
You will be focusing on the landing pages of our websites, so being commercially strong and innovative, fast-thinking, and proactive is essential. You should also have a creative eye as you’ll be identifying opportunities to bring our products to life visually across our sites and apps.
This is a fast-paced role, so you should have the ability to prioritise workload and drive change at pace. You should also have a good all-round understanding of best practice developed through previous experience and data analysis in a merchandising role as well as having the ability to translate numbers into actionable insight to inform day-to-day site merchandising.
Desired but not essential
Understanding of SEO principles
Experience in using Magnolia CMS
Experience in using photoshop (basic level)
Ability to create short pieces of copy (for example headlines)
Experience in using Google Analytics to identify commercial opportunities
