I am looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Campaign Manager to join one of the UK’s biggest Telco and Mobile providers, as part of their CRM, Digital & Insights team. A key factor of this role is team management as you will be managing a successful team of 12, so you will not only be measured on the success of campaigns but also the team development and engagement. You would also be working on incredibly sophisticated, multi-channel campaigns on an end to end basis, ensuring everything is delivered to time, quality and budget.

About the role

  • Accountability for the design and delivery of all CRM campaigns, through team management and hands on delivery, this will include large scale strategic campaigns for new launches and key calendar dates i.e Black Friday
  • Working to core KPI’s delivering campaigns to time, quality and cost through delivery and execution teams
  • Providing strategic direction and objectives, ensuring campaigns are designed with a clear focus on Insight – using test and learn and measurement frameworks in every campaign
  • Allocating CRM campaigns across your team of Campaign Managers, based on resource and capacity
  • Maximising the use of their CRM channel capability, the main channels will be SMS & MMS, although other channels including email and direct mail will also be used
  • You will be the main point of contact for everything CRM related, and will be responsible for tracking campaign execution progress
  • Making sure operational reporting is available to all via the team, including risks for the life of a campaign, execution issues and channel & customer feedback this includes in-life and post campaign deployment – demonstrating clear recommendations and insights gained
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure targets are achieved at each stage of the campaign process
  • Managing a team of 12, continually developing them and improving engagement
  • You will have overall responsibility for their contact planning tool and reporting suite to enable business decisions
  • Managing the relationship with the creative agency
  • Responsibility for the operational implementation of all new systems, tools and data sources

About you

People Management experience is absolutely key to this role, you must be able to demonstrate that you have leadership skills and the experience to develop a large team. You must also;

  • Have a minimum of 5 years direct marketing, planning and campaign experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience delivering a large volume of contacts across multiple channels and customer bases
  • Proven experience of managing a team of at least 3/4 people (although management of a larger team would be preferred)
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing and channels including SMS/MMS, Email and Direct Mail
  • Ability to lead and influence at a range of seniority levels, to shape campaign design and delivery
  • Excellent understanding of CRM principles and practices
  • Good knowledge of campaigns delivery processes and best practice in customer targeting and managing customer data
  • Previous base management experience would be beneficial but is not essential
