About the role
Senior Social Media Manager required for a maternity cover contract for a leading digital agency based in London.
Reporting to the Head of Social, you will be responsible for driving the social media strategy and helping to steer the social media creative for the clients you work on.
The successful candidate will need to be highly collaborative, working across the agency on always on social media retainers, integrated briefs or bigger social campaigns depending on the client’s need.
You will be an expert in best practice in social media and have relationships with the platforms, be nimble and
able to quickly adopt different clients working styles, and help to ensure the smooth production of large volumes of social content on a daily basis.
This is a client facing role so you’ll also need to be able to represent the agency at client meetings and experience in some pitches would be ideal.

The Successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience managing client relationships at a senior level
- Exceptional social media platform expertise
- Paid social expertise
- Social media strategy
- Ability to input and steer social media creative
- Understanding of other marketing disciplines and how they can work together with social media
