SEO Editors needed for a renowned Digital Media company, based in London on a full-time freelance basis. You’ll play a crucial role in their team of specialists, advising the editors on SEO strategies and methods to achieve real-time SEO optimisation. Using your experience in an editorial environment, you’ll be passionate about SEO, and a strong understanding of how to translate terms and process to other members of the team. Whether you’re an experienced SEO Editor with a strong understanding of key principles, or an enthusiastic Journalist with experience of optimisation and Google wins, this could be the right opportunity for you! About the role
There are two full-time freelance SEO editor positions available to join this growing team. Working across a range of different digital brands, you will have the opportunity to work with talented editors and content creators to advise on SEO optimisation. It is crucial, therefore, that you are an efficient communicator and have a personable nature to ensure you get the best outcome for the business. No day will be the same, as you will be reacting to news and entertainment which your target audience are searching for. Typically, you will be keeping track of Google trends, and ensuring you are on the ball with SEO optimisation, as well as advanced planning in some cases.
- A background in the Digital Media B2C space, preferably within the news environment
- An awareness of current news, entertainment, and what’s trending online
- Personable individual with experience communicating with different members of editorial teams
- Excellent understanding of SEO principles and their application
- Demonstrable experience of achieving big wins from your expert knowledge within SEO optimisation
