This Data Protection Policy governs our processing of all personal data provided to us via the RedCat website(s) and other international websites and our international offices. You are asked to please read it carefully.
If you do not agree to our processing of your data in the manner outlined below, please do not submit any personal data to us.
What information do we gather on our site?
If you register as a RedCat Recruitment Company candidate online, we gather the following information:
- Your name and personal details (including Equal Opportunities information)
- Your contact information (address, phone, email)
- Your professional history/CV
- Your work and salary preferences
Additionally, we may conduct periodic surveys of our user base, requesting a wider range of demographic information. Users will always have the option to opt-out of these surveys.
We give all registering candidates the option of opting out of our email marketing campaigns.
Third Party Cookies on the RedCat Recruitment Company Website
When you visit our website you may find cookies that aren’t related to The RedCat Recruitment Company. For example if one of our pages contains embedded content, e.g. a video from YouTube, or you chose to share our content using social networking sites e.g. Twitter or Facebook, you may be sent cookies from these sites. We don’t control these cookies and recommend that if you are concerned you check these websites for more information about their cookies and how you can manage them.

Who is collecting the information?
All data collection and storage is done in-house by The RedCat Recruitment Company.
With whom is my information shared?
We do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information to any third parties. However, with direct permission from the candidate, we will forward relevant candidate details to prospective employers, who are clients of the RedCat Recruitment Company.
Will I get spam mail from 3rd parties?
If you are a registered user, under normal circumstances you will receive occasional emails asking you if you are still seeking employment and be asked to complete occasional marketing surveys for GRC. On registration you are given the option to ‘opt-out’ of these services.
If you set up a job alert you will also receive emails advising you of vacancies that match your tailored requirements as frequently as your require. Your personal email address will not be given out to third parties without your prior permission.
What are my choices regarding use of my information?
There is a minimum level of information required to facilitate job searches or registration, as noted on the CV builder as mandatory fields. Any secondary communications or requests for additional information (surveys, promotions, etc.) will be optional (i.e. you may choose simply not to respond or participate or opt out of being contacted by email from the outset).
Is the RC website secure?
RC is committed to the security of customer information and we have security procedures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under RC’s control.
The only people who can currently access your details is our team of recruitment consultants and our technical partners. We do not allow any third party access to your personal information without your express permission. If we did so we would break the regulations of our industry regulator the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC – www.rec.uk.com) and also the Data Protection Act.
