As Apple prepares to release its latest iPhone XS and Apple Watch 4 hardware upgrades, the real news for most iPhone owners worldwide is that iOS 12 will finally launch this week.
We’ll find out the official iOS 12 release date this Wednesday, September 12 – and should be able to download the update by next week. So if you’ve yet to have seen the beta of the new iPhone operating system you’re in for a treat.
The new iOS is expected to be announced alongside Apple’s new iPhone XS, XS Max and Apple Watch 4 on Wednesday.
New features for your iPhone
New iOS12 features include Memoji, Group Notifications, and overall improved performance for all older phones.
Group FaceTime is the only feature that’s not expected to be announced this month, most likely slipping into October.
