About the role:

My client are a leading digital publisher and are currently looking for a Nutrition Digital Editor to focus on the French market for a 1 year fixed term contract. This role can be based in the UK and paid via PAYE. As Nutrition Editor you will be joining a successful editorial team and become an integral part of the Health & Wellness coverage.

You’ll spearhead our nutrition content and engage our audience in interesting and unique ways.

You’ll create articles about nutrition, spotting the strongest angles that resonate with our audience and ensuring our coverage is accurate, distinctive and useful to our audience.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about nutrition and demonstrate excellent news judgment, as well as a firm grasp of digital editorial best practices.

 

What skills you need:

The successful candidate will ideally be a French national so not only fluent in French but also understand the local market and what topics will be successful.

You will also have the following skills & experience:

  • You’re passionate and well-informed about nutrition and health. You have genuine expertise in this field, and a track record of creating nutrition-related content. You keep up to date with the latest news on the subject and know all about the latest trends. You can identify the key players and challenges in the nutrition ecosystem. Ideally, you belong to, or even lead, social communities around this topic.
  • You have a background of working in digital journalism, knowing how to use a CMS and understanding the importance of metadata, tagging, captions and audience insights to ensure our content performs at its best.
  • A solid knowledge of SEO principles is important for this role.
