Software Engineer (C# .Net) – Investment Bank

6 months (+ extensions)

About the role

We are looking for a C# .NET Developer to join a global bank, on a 6-month contract. Please note that this is a rolling contract and extensions will be offered. Tasks include understanding business requirements, designing applications, data analysis, programming in Visual C#.NET using both Oracle and SQL Server databases.

Skills

– Knowledge on C#.NET using both Oracle and SQL Server database.

– Setting up a system distribution method to Citrix and application Servers for both Web and Window applications

– Assessing the impact of data processing loads on SQL and Oracle database and when appropriate, finding alternative solutions.

– Communicating with primary support Helpdesk staff in London and New York to provide the necessary system supports

-Providing script for database enquiry languages, ie, T-SQL (SQL Server) and PL/SQL (Oracle) to perform data analysis based on requirements from business parties
