Administrator – Software Development Team (6-Month Contract)
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)
Contract: 6 months
Rate: £230–£380 per day (umbrella)
We are seeking a fluent Japanese-speaking Administrator to support a busy Software Development Team in London. This is a 6-month contract with hybrid working, offering a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of development operations in a dynamic corporate environment.
Role Purpose
You will provide essential administrative support to the Software Development Team, ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently. This includes managing documentation, providing system support to business users, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, and supporting contractors and staff with administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the development team and senior management.

Maintain and update development documentation to ensure standards and traceability.

Assist with recruitment activities, interview scheduling, offer management, and onboarding of new hires.

Handle contractor administration, including rate revisions and certain visa-related processes.

Monitor timesheet entries, track leave, and support resource planning.

Communicate effectively with development team members (C# Developers, Testers, Database Administrators) and users across London and European offices.
Person Specification
Essential:

Native-level fluency in Japanese (written and verbal)

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP)

Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to detail

Self-motivated, quality-orientated, and a team player

Ability to provide support to a large team and manage multiple priorities
Desirable:

Experience in Japanese corporate environments

Knowledge of SQL

Interest in finance or accounting
Qualifications:

University graduate level
Working Arrangements:

Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office in London
