Service Delivery Manager

Working for an electrical and renewable energies product & service heavyweight, the Service Delivery Manager will be entrusted with leading the comprehensive performance of their IT services, skilfully coordinating both internal support functions and external suppliers. Guided by a steadfast ‘customer-first’ approach, the Service Delivery Managers key responsibility will be to assure the effective delivery of first-rate IT services, a critical component in promoting their business expansion and nurturing enduring customer relationships.

Service Delivery Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Leading their UK functions 1st Line Support Services, managing IT systems across 300 sites, and handling key daily activities including Incident and Application Management.

  • Managing 3rd party services and contracts, ensuring smooth delivery and functionality of all services, with an emphasis on preparing service delivery teams for changes.

  • Driving customer satisfaction with a Service Improvement mindset, while monitoring IT costs, upholding Business continuity standards, and maintaining the IT Service catalogue.

Service Delivery Manager Skills:

  • Strong experience in a similar Service Delivery Role, with robust service process documentation skills and exceptional organisational abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate in a cross-functional environment, and swiftly build the confidence of the executive team.

  • ITIL Foundation/Practitioner v3/4 certification and experience in managing 3rd Party Vendors to deliver comprehensive IT services.

  • Passion for Service Delivery and its impact on customer experience, showcasing a proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate between customers and suppliers.
